Multi Filter

One precise tone tool that changes shape.

Its Mode picks the filter shape. High-pass removes everything below the Frequency, low-pass removes everything above it, shelves turn one side up or down, and a peak boosts or cuts a bump.

Use it when you want to remove rumble precisely, add air, or make a “phone” voice.

Start here for vocals

  1. High-pass ~80–100 Hz on every vocal.
  2. Or low shelf 70 Hz, -10 dB to clean rumble.
  3. High shelf ~12 kHz, +1 to +3 dB for air.

Too much? Listen for…

  • The voice gets thin: the high-pass is set too high.

Try it in 2 minutes

  1. Loop one line of your mains.
  2. Turn one knob all the way, then back. Hear what changed.
  3. Settle somewhere gentle.
  4. Click the power button to compare before and after, at the same volume.

Tips

  • Low-pass ~3 kHz gives a “far away” or phone sound for {Echo} lines.
