Who we are

MuSync (www.musync.site) is a small, personal project for keeping color coded lyric sheets and tracking vocal covers. It's run by one person. Questions about your data go to yuukishiro93@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture link from Google. We never see your Google password.
  • What you add: private lyric sheets, covers and their tracking (statuses, takes, notes, redo reasons), links you save, and Google Docs you suggest for the library.
  • Technical basics: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and your light or dark theme choice, stored in your browser. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • To sign you in and show you your own sheets and covers.
  • To review Google Docs you suggest and add them to the shared library.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking cookies. Your private sheets and covers are only visible to you.

Who else handles it

  • Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Google provides “Continue with Google” sign-in, if you use it. When you suggest or import a Google Doc, the site reads that public doc from Google Docs.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your covers and private sheets yourself at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email yuukishiro93@gmail.comfrom the address you signed up with, and we'll do it within 30 days. Library sheets you suggested stay in the library, without your name on them.

Children

MuSync isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For bigger changes, we'll let signed-in users know on the site.
